git. | IMO he wont be good enough to win a title if he loses to those kind of fighters now. He is a professional, and has already beat 11 people no losses. MMA has changed since a few years ago, now everybody has a lot of knowlege in striking, wrestling, and submissions. And he definately is a good striker and BJJ practitioner. After the amatures and a few low budget MMA organizations I don't think he can get too much better. He already has all the skills he needs. Its not like chuck or Cro Cop who didn't study Grapling until they got to MMA so I don't think he'll learn any more than he already knows, now it's all about preparation for the opponent.

Bisping has the "look" in his eye.
He seems hungry and has a natural urge to fight .. I'm sure he'll do fine.
Some contestants I've seen on TUF just didn't seem to be mean enough (Matt Hamill).

Bisping in my opinion is the greatest TUF fighter ever. I really like his skill set(I loved that flying knee) and truly see him being a contender in the future. I agree with everyone that he didn't need the TUF show to make it in the UFC but I'm glad he did to get that exposure. He and Luke Cummo are my favorite two TUF fighters. Even though Luke will probably only be above average at best I think he showed termendous heart and detemination when he fought Sevenson. What can I say I like the guy! I just wanted to give my two cents. I think they need to give Bisping a "semi can" for this first fight then give him someone mid way up that ladder. I would love to see him smash a non-roided Bonner. I never liked that dude and now that he's a ROIDER I really hate him. He's a disgrace. Anyway I'm getting off the subject. I see Big things in the future for Bisping.

It's not like he's in his teens, he in his 20s so how long should it take for him to learn? He's a black belt in BJJ and has good stand up. The whole point is if he's 11 and 0 he should beat them easily, if he doesn't than I don't think he will be that good in MMA.
The other guys he's fighting will not stop training and just let him catch up, they will improve as well.

I would agree that his wrestling needs some work however, and that either White or Eastman would certainly be a good test.
git. | IMO Bisping was winning that fight.

It looked like Bisping was winning the fight the entire time with the possible exception of the first takedown but after they were standing again Bisping landed like 10 punches and about 4 kicks to Ross's 3 leg kicks while Bisping was grounded and maybe 3 punches from the ground that landed so I would say Bisping was in control if not for the entire fight certainly after they stood back up after the first takedown.

He would make for a great champion and very exciting to watch as he loves a standup war and even right now, the only one who would get the better of the exchanges would be Chuck.
IMO Bisping would melt Forrest, that wild swinging while not looking at your opponent will get you fugged up when facing Chuck or Bisping. | Why does a champ have to be humble?? I think its more exciting to have a real prick as the champ because you always want the guy to get the $hit kicked out of him.

He would be a crowd favorite IMO. An exciting striker and a great personality, those qualities make for a great champion and would be very marketable.
