Penn is a great fighter, but he is overrated.

NO WAY, that is saying you think Stevenson is better than Sherk. I agree a focused Penn is very very hard to beat at 155 or 170, but there are two people, one in each weight class that I think can beat Penn at the top of his game, and that is GSP (Again) and Sherk. Just my opinion.

I agree totally.He is great,but could be a whole lot better if he commited himself to training harder.He has said himself that he is in the fight game because it gives him more freedom to bum around than having a full time job/career.His cardio is his biggest enemy,and he will need cardio with Sherk.
He will get by Joe Daddy,but I think Sherk will outwork and gas Penn for the win.I highly doubt he will submit Sherk,and as we know Sherk has a granite chin.
Alot of people think BJ is some sort of a submission master,but out of sixteen fights he only has four subs.

That's a pretty ignorant way of looking at it. It's a good thing you know how to use fight finder... you obviously know so much about jiu-jitsu.

bj is an absolute monster on the ground... i dont care that he only has 4 subs. his ground work is so fluid and smooth and his knowledge is so much higher thatn most is unbelieveable.

Penn is by far the most talented fighter in the world, Fedor gets as good as he gets becuase of the insane training that he has done since he first started sambo, BJ on the other hand was slipping punches better in his first mma fight then anyone else (besides AA) is doing now.

well they both dropped him, those being the only two shots Franca landed all night. His recovery time was decent but if he hadn't been able to take Hermes down after those knees he would have been finished.

His chin looked pretty average against GSP... and Sherk hasn't fought any good strikers with power besides GSP and Hermes has never KO'd anyone with a knee before. His chin is overrated as "granite"

Penn certainly has the power to kock him out.
