Coming off an impressive win over Wanderlai Silva at UFC 79: NEMESIS last month, the Iceman is back on track and looking to reclaim his #1 spot in the light heavyweight division.

Chuck knows there's a long road ahead and one of the obstacles standing in his way could be Keith Jardine, who beat Liddell by decision at UFC 76: KNOCKOUT in September.

Well personally I want to see him avenge this before moving on so I agree with Chuck. He did not do enough in that fight to win which he is perfectly capable of doing as we saw him do in the Wand fight.

Makes sense, though from Jardine's perspective he shouldn't have to go back and fight a guy that he just beat without any other fights first. I realize immediate rematches happen, but usually only in the title picture (AA/Sylvia III) or special cases (Ortiz/Shammy III). Who knows, maybe this is a special case.

Well I think Chuck and Jardine should both have respective bouts before even considering a rematch. There are PLENTY of LHW contenders ad I think that if they both win some matches that Chuck/Jardine could be for the title shot later on.

They should definately have one more fight before a rematch. Atleast Chuck should. Although I want him to come back and bash Jardine, he doesn't deserve it yet. Maybe if they both win their next fight, then they can fight for a title shot.

i've said it before and ill say it again---chuck and lhw title shot should not be used in the same sentence until rampage loses the belt. PERIOD.

Chuck's one of my favorite fighters and I hope he runs through the entire lhw division's top 5...only then will he truly deserve another crack at rampage if he is still champ.

BUT i will laugh my freaking ass off if he rematches jardine and the dean of mean beats him again...omg i will laugh so freaking hard.

honestly jardine has beat both forrest and chuck, there is no reason y he should be having a rematch with chuck... he should be one solid fight away from a title shot

true that...im a chuck fan, but i kinda want jardine to beat him in the rematch just so it will throw a big turd in dana white's cereal (credit to bullock)
