In Barnett's post fight interview he said, "he (CC) accidently got me in the eye when I was going after his leg. I let go of the leg and reactively grabbed my face and then realized that not only can I not see, I have no idea where he is. I didn't want to get punted."

The right eye was poked, but if you look at his left eye, it is nearly swollen shut. No wonder he couldn't see.

Barnett also commented that the damage was superficial, so sounds like the socket is OK.

Also, Pride promotes for UFC quite often. It is the BS UFC who refuses to even mention the word "Pride" until very recently.

Randy did occasional fight analysis and he openly talked about his upcoming UFc fights while Pride announcer even reminded people about it.

Dana white is a dumbass! There's a reason why all the great fighters moved to Pride.

Oh, thanks for the info. There was another guy who answered and I appreciate it.

I don't see Barnett winning the belt but he's a fun guy to watch. He has great techniques and I would hate him to be hurt for a long period of time.
