Yeah maybe roman numerals, but that would make UFC 100 be UFC "C".
The better question would be are they going to keep coming up with lame titles for their events, can't wait for UFC 90 "Bloodsport" or "Hard to kill" any Jean Claude Van Dame or Steven Segal movie names.

They've been using names for well over 10 years. They've been using names, since the events were still in the single digits.

I know lookin at Wikipedia they gave names to most the older events

What makes sport's interesting is the FINALS... however, ufc doesn't have finals... it's all numbers... so IF I wanted to look back 4 years and try to find out championship matches... HOW DO I FIGURE THAT OUT?
They need to come up with rankings of fighters, a ladder... And people should be able to identify championship belt matches by the name... something that only is carried when there is a belt on the line...

Maybe:

UFC 2008 LHW = Forest griffen vs. Rampage ?

the number thing sucks... because it feels old as soon as the fight is past...

I think when the UFC hits 100 it will not only mark one of the biggest mma cards of all times. But after UFC 100 I think we will see UFC reboot and start from 1 all over again, or just elimate the numbers and just use titles as they go. But who knows lets just sit back and enjoy UFC as the fights just keep getting better and the cards blow all our minds.

lol I agree but I think they need to go with title and the main event as the name, so stuff like "UFC 81: Syvlia vs Nogueira".
