i am not really a fan of ed herman, so any time he loses is ok with me, and i hope and pray that he does lose this fight.

If Herman was an elite ground and pounder, I'd say I was looking forward to a good ground war here...sadly, his striking isn't top-notch either, and that's his best bet.

If Maia is able to submit Gonzaga who's a world champion calibre grappler at HW then he should easy work with Herman.

Poor Herman, not a good fight for him. Miai technique will cut through Hermans aggressive style. Wether stand up or on the ground Miai will keep a very cool head, and attack with the intent to finish the fight.

Herman is completely outclassed here imo. His kryptonite is anyone with decent jiu-jitsu.
Maia by sub within 2 minutes of rd. 1
