Lytle is fighting at UFC 81 against a debuting fighter, Lytle being such a kick ass dude he would probably take this fight if offered. Im sure lots of people at 170 would take this fight in a heartbeat

I been thinking about it all day as far as suitable replacements for Gono that would be a competitive match make sense and not really jeopardize Fitch's position and long awaited and well deserved title shot.
Ryo Chonan if he is healty enough from the Karo fight to fight would be good or Jeff Joslin he didnt do all that bad against kos and I believe he may own a victory over Jon Fitch many many years back not sure though of course Chris Lytle but Drew the master Fickett fits the bill the best competitive enough to where it wont be a snooze and keep Fitch sharp but not too much of a problem.

I got tickets to Ohio UFC event and was looking forward to see Fitch fight. No one is going to want to fight Fitch on short notice. All the other good WW's are scheduled in upcoming fights. Hopefully the UFC can find someone.

So your right, if Joslin is healthy by then that would be another good option. Fickett is no longer with the UFC I don't think, Chonan would be a good option too.

Theoretically speaking, of course. Either way, they better find somebody to step in against Fitch; I love watching him fight. | i agree....a #1 contender's fight between karo and fitch
karo's an a$$ for asking for an easy fight....

Damn, I was hoping to see Gono fight. I think he could actually give Fitch a run for his money.
