Yeah, I used to be a mod on MIRC and WBS. But then I took some time off because I was turning minty green..you know, a computer monitor tan....


But anyway. It looks to me like BJ Penn is in the best physical shape he could be for this fight. Joe Stevenson is durable, tough, and a thinking fighter..but so is BJ with more experience. As long as Buffer doesn't interfere it should be Penn by cout out.

I picked Joe because I think he will get nod in a decision or maybe by choke. Realistically though, Penn has him beat everywhere else.

Before weigh ins I would of been undecided, but after seeing the shape bj is in and the look in his eyes.. I have to pick him to win.

Nobody in the LW or maybe even the WW division should be able to beat a motivated BJ Penn who's been training his ass off. BJ is hungry for that title, and is an all around better fighter IMO.

If BJ loses this one I'd be willing to admit that he's not as good as we all thought he was.

And a very valid and educated critique at that.

I'm goin w/ penn as long as he doesnt gas if the fight goes longer than the 3rd. he is better in pretty much every aspect and if they decide to stand, yikes, i think BJ will pick stevenson apart.
