| Fight Night 13 Stacked a little Higher Quote:
The UFC officially announced Saturday afternoon through e-mail that UFC Fight Night 13 is slated for April 2 in Broomfield, Colorado at the Broomfield Event Center.
The advertised main event is a lightweight bout between Massachusetts-natives Kenny Florian and Joe Lauzon. However, a welterweight bout between Karo Parisyan and Thiago Alves is listed as well. Several media outlets had reported that Parisyan vs. Alves was set to take place on April 19 at UFC 84 in Montreal.
The other featured bout announced by the UFC is a light heavyweight match between Stephan Bonnar and Matt Hamill.
A portion of the card will be telecast on Spike TV starting at 9 p.m. ET. The televised portion of the card will serve as a lead in for the season premiere of the seventh season of “The Ultimate Fighter.”
Tickets for the event go on sale to the general public this Wednesday, January 23 but Internet pre-sales will begin as early as tomorrow.
| Five Ounces of Pain | Alves vs. Parisyan signed for UFC Fight Night 13 in Colorado on April 2
This brings the card to:
Karo Parisyan vs. Thiago Alves
Kenny Florian vs. Joe Lauzon
Marcus Aurelio vs. Spencer Fisher
Matt Hamill vs. Stephan Bonnar
Shaping up to be a great fight night. Can't wait for some of those pre-lims to be put together now.

Wow, I agree.. that is looking to be an awesome card.
I am cheering for
Lauzon
Karo (even though I am unhappy with him right now)
Bonnar
Aurelio (I like Aurelio, watching him win at 78 was great. Not to mention, Marcus gave my BJJ instructor his blackbelt.).

If you were to put any title fight on here it could easily be a solid PPV. Maybe Dana wasn't lying about this year being crazy. Let's hope these sick-tight cards continue.

Now that they have such a huge roster of fighters one would hope this is how the UFNs will be from now on

Not that it exactly ratchets up the "stacked" factor of this card, but Tommy Speer vs. Anthony Johnson is also on this card.
This is a very solid card for an UFN. As I mentioned in another thread, I am considering driving out to see this one...if so, it'd make my first live UFC event.
