St. Pierre will probably be fighting for the title by the end of the year. The TUF 4 Finale is in November, so the winner of that fight won't be ready to go for a title shot until early 2007 most likely. You can have GSP vs. Hughes/Penn in November or December.

i love how everyone who posted on this thread is assuming that Hughes is gunna beat Penn...idiots!
and if GSP is gunna fight Diego, then so be it! AWESOME!!! Diego is finally gunna have a loss on his record cuz GSP is gunna whipe the floor with him. GSP owned Karo, and Diego had a hard time with him up until Rd 3 when he knocked his tooth out. WAR GSP!!!

I think it would be bullshit for him to have to work his way back again, but maybe he'll take a fight just for a warm up if anything. I would love to see him fight Deigo and pick him apart, but I don't know if they'll match those two up just yet. We can only hope...

Dana White already said GSP won't have to work his way back up.... hopefully he'll get his shot before the TUF winner, but who knows. If not, we'll probably see him whoop Diego this winter.
