great responses by everyone in this thread!
i think Jardine is gunna get screwed here. he shouldnt have to fight Chuck...he should fight Shogun, Machida, or even Soko...but not Chuck. thats BS!
as far as the UFC 80 guys...
Stevenson should fight Huerta, Edgar, or Florian. he needs to fight another top guy.
i dont feel Werdum deserves a title shot, he should be fighting Kongo, not Herring...but thats JMO.
Gonzaga, i dunno. he should be the one fighting Herring. HW division sucks right now since Randy up and left.
Marcus Davis should fight Fitch since Gono is out. whoever wins will be #1 contender...and the thing is the winner of GSP/Serra is guaranteed a GOOD FIGHT between either guy.
they better not drop Paul Taylor! the guy has been in two FOTNs his last two outtings even in defeat. give him a guy like Petz or Desouza in his next fight. i want to see him truly outclass someone on their feet!
as far as everyone else, i dunno. cuz we have the obvious...BJ vs. Sherk! cant wait to see BJ put Sherk in his place once and for all!!! im sure the UFC would be gunning for Gomi if BJ wins, but with all the new contenders at 155 having to sit on the sidelines who knows...this will be the year of 155, mark my words!!!

Fitch's opponents might be better but minus the Sanchez fight his opponents at the time were C level fighters at best

if Davis beats Fitch he should be considered for a title shot, but otherwise No Way, its just a timing thing and he gets lucky he gets to face Fitch (if that fight does actually happen)
Jardine should rematch Houston(i know he has a fight coming up), or fight another top tier guy moving him up the ranks, Gouveia would be an alright opponent (i guess), but i honestly don't see either of them making waves anytime soon
I don't think they should give Werdum another fight before the title, it'll just de-legitimize (is that a word?) a guy like Kongo, who WILL be beaten on teh ground, unless the UFC is trying to set up a rematch in the future, besides Werdum vs Tim/Nog will be sweet

I think Tito wants a bigger name. I think Tito vs Machida would be a boring fight. Im a fan of both fighters but Tito would just hold him down and win a decision. I would really like to see Machida vs Jardine and Tito vs Shogun. To me that would make more sense.

Jardine has beat 2 of the ufc's most popular fighters, and already has beaten wilson
apparently machida is tied up, so is rashad and thiago.
Why not give him a fight with shogun?

Penn should be able to beat Sherk, and Stevenson vs. Sanchez will be a good fight that Stevenson should be able to pull off.
Werdum vs. Vera should also be good, and if at 100% Vera could win. Gonzaga vs. Kongo sounds ok, but im thinkin Gonzaga vs. Cro Cop 2 would be a better fight to see.
Rivera came out of nowhere with that KO on Grove, but i dont think he would win against Cote or McFedries. Terry Martin already has a fight coming up against Eastman so Grove should fight the winner of that.
Davis vs. Cummo would be an exciting fight, for Liaudin vs. Koloshi i thought Koloshi's was dropped from the ufc as well as some other TUF fighters.
Paul Kelly vs. Jon Koppenhaver and Paul Taylor vs. Jared Rollins both sound like good fights, and i'd also like to see Kelly vs. Taylor 2 someday. All sound like decent fights.
