GJJG, I hadn't thought about till you brought it up, but I do remember thinking they looked funny when I first saw someone using hammer fists, but thinking, hey, that's a good idea! Thanks for the flashback, made me smile. Just got used to it....they look normal now.

Let's ask Takahashi.

Oh wait, he is almost unconscious from Herring's hammer fist's.

My friend won his first fight with hammer fists. Have you ever been hammer fisted ? Good way to break someone's nose or eye socket.

Default takahashi

If Takahashi got knocked out by hammerfists he must have one hell of a glass jaw. And as for Randleman's knockout of Crocop, if I remember correctly, it happened when they were on the feet not on the ground. I can't remember if he caught Crocop with a hook or a cross but it sure as heck wasn't a hammerfist. Crocop was out by the time he hit the ground.

Interesting post...because I have alwasy thought just the opposite. Those hammerfists look devastating to me...plus...less damage to your hand.

Hmmm...I have alwasy thought that hammerfists were just a totally dominating attack. Your opponent has to cover up or get a fairly strong blow to the face.
