I don't think Tim is very exciting, usually, but for some reason I think he'll take this fight.

if Tim wins because Nog is lackluster in the UFC and we don't see his PRIDE style, then I think I will loose hope for my favorite PRIDE fighters every transitioning correctly.

I would love to see Timmay in a wheel chair as much as the next guy but...........I think timmmay is going to run around the whole fight and throw a couple punches and win the God damn fight by decision....I really hope I am wrong but thats how i see it going.

I'm going Silvia on this one. Nothing against Nog, I just think that he will make the mistake of trying to stand with him to make the fight "exciting" for the UFC fans and get caught on the button.

I think Nog is a far more superior fighter than Timmay, I just think Timm with his size is just going to make this a boring match where he runs around and just gets enough small taps on Nogs face that he gets a decision.

If they stand and throw, Nog will out box him, and probably win a decision, but if it goes to the ground I think Nog will end the fight. I really don't see Tim winning an exciting fight. If it's a good fight I take Nog, but in a snoozefest I'll take Sylvia all day.

I think Tim showed alot of respect in the interview for Nog in particular, gave him rightful props, and said hed like to fight Fedor. Nothing wrong with that, thats what many of us want to hear,a TOP 10 guy interested in fighting Fedor,so I don't understand why some are whining or bashing Tim over it.
His fight next week should be great,I realllllllly want Nog to win,but I honestly see Sylvia winning.
I also dont see Tim coming out and doing the jab and dance as he has before. I see him coming out and setting up for big kicks,as Herring did and eventually catching Nog,as Herring did.
If it goes to the ground, hes got a good guard, long legs, and hes not scared to let someone snap an arm or leg. Which Nog may have to do in order to win,for I dont see him outstriking Tim. To much reach, and a good chin.

Big Nog isnt even Top 5 in BJJ, still a great prac though
He beats Tim IMO, better boxing.. much better ground game.. he just has to overcome size and the fat man clinch
