| Hughes: "I would never retire off of a loss like that – never." UFC® : Ultimate Fighting Championship® Quote:
“I feel healthier now than I ever have, I’m really happy with my camp and who I’ve got, and I’ve got to put all the blame on me for that loss,” said Hughes of the St-Pierre fight. “I just didn’t go out there and do the things we worked on. I was hesitant and just wasn’t pulling the trigger like I should have. My camp got me in shape, I was ready to go, and I was just a little bit hesitant, so that’s on me, not on anybody else. So as healthy as I am and as much as I want to compete, I’m not going anywhere. First off, I would never retire off of a loss like that – never. Number two, I just feel super healthy.”
Any plans for the comeback fight then?
“I told (UFC President) Dana (White) that I might take a little time off to see my family and because I’m starting this new gym, the H.I.T. Squad, and I’m getting my clothing line out there,” he said. “But I want to see Georges and Matt fight, and I told Dana that I’d probably like to fight Matt Serra after that fight. If Matt loses, I’ll be looking to fight him.”
You heard it, Matt Hughes isn’t going anywhere.
“The fans will definitely see me in the Octagon again,” he said. “I will be there.”

Well atleast hes gonna give it another go. I still think he could beat all in his division with exception to St. Pierre. Who knows if St. Pierre moves up Matty Hughes might be champion again.

I hope that GSP wins and Hughes beats the crap out of Serra. I can see Serra falling off the top ten pedestal this year.

Well, I think it's great news he's sticking around. There are some great match-ups out there for him that I would love to see
Hughes - Serra Hughes - Karo
Hughes - Fitch Hughes - Kos
I think he's a threat against anyone in that division outside GSP who seems to have his number at the moment. Of course, the Serra fight is the one with the most hype behind it at the moment so I'm glad that's the one he'll probably ask Dana for first.

I'm glad Matt Hughes is sticking around, he has been my favourite fighter to watch since I started watching MMA. True, gsp is just too good right now, probably top top 3 in the world. Hope Hughes beats that big month serra.

I would love to see hughes fight anyone really
Serra would be the obvious first choice because of the bad blood... plus its almost wrestler vs bjj, which i love to see.
The second one would be against kos... classic wrestler vs wrestler.
The third would be either karo or fitch.
