Maybe this is a stupid question, but why is Nogueira listed under HW and LHW?

It's not a stupid question, just a n00b question. It's because they are twin brothers. One is Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira aka Minotauro aka Nog aka Big Nog, the other is Antonio Rogerio Nogueira aka Minotoro aka Lil Nog. Big Nog is a HW, Lil Nog is a LHW.

About the original post...I agree with most of the rankings. I don't like how they have Misaki rated higher than Marquardt though. Marquardt has beaten Misaki twice. Also, I think Filho should be rated higher than Anderson Silva. Silva didn't do shit in PRIDE and he goes over and beats Chris Leben and all of a sudden he is the #3 MW in the world? BS. Filho is undefeated and pretty much dominated most of his matches. He should be #2 or #3 MW.

Default rankings

I'm a big Filho fan but I think I may have to give the nod to Dennis Kang for the #3 spot. The guy seems unstoppable right now. I'm glad to see Nick Diaz back in the ww top ten, I always felt he won that fight with Dana's golden boy Diego. I think its only a matter of time before Gilbert Melendez gets a much higher ranking. He's just recenty moved up from 145 but I think he'll adjust well to 155-160 and is the most viable threat right now to Gomi's title. Give him a few fights to fully adjust to that wieght and look out. Oh, and Anderson Silva at #3 MW? Yeah that is bull. I don't know if I would even rank him in my top ten.

Default based on

Based on that I think david terell and evan tanner could beat him but they aren't even ranked in that list. Silva's a great stiker but he didn't exactly make waves when he was in pride. I think that was really his chance to shine and he had a mediocre run there. Now if he beats Rich Franklin then I will most certainly change my mind about him. Beating Chris Leben doesn't mean that much to me.

Default btw

I wouldn't put Amar Suloev in there either for the same reason. Tanner and Terell could both beat him as well.
