i say have bisping fight the winner of the evans/lambert fight. that's a pretty big fight for the ufc light heavy rankings, as right now ortiz is a lock for number one with griffin at two. after that you have guys like evans, babalu, bonnar, and lambert all floating around somewhere so why not throw a wrench in the mix and make it interesting. i think bisping could take out either of those guys and if one of them beat shim, they get a marquee fight next. if not, back to thedrawing board and you throw bisping against griffin, bonnarm, or bablu. that's my guess.

I dont know if Bisping could take Babalu quite yet. Sure he had an awful gameplan in his fight against Liddell but the guys only losses in the last like 6 years are 2 KOs from the #1 LHW in the world and 2 decision losses....to randleman and FEDOR. Anyone going the distance with Fedor earned my respect for a long ass time. Count would be tapping in the first round.

Bisping is definitely an exciting fighter with a lot of marketability to him.
I can't see why the UFC would rush him or any of its up and coming LHW's at this point.

TUF is about the UFC growing its fan base. Its not smart business to put these guys in against fighters that would dominate them. Just like in boxing, the fighters should be brought along slowly. With each fight being a slightly bigger test than the last one.

UFC can afford to bring in a talent to challenge their homegrown boys throughout their careers to get them the competition they need to improve their skills.

I'd say in 12 months to 18 months, Bisping and Evans should be ready (both skillwise and marketing-wise) for "top tier" matchups.

And yeah I'll say it...Rashad "Good Times" Evans takes Bisping down and elbows him into a TKO...2 years from now...!!

i dont see why everyone gets so excited about this guy,i'm not saying he's a wuss or sucks or anything because he has a lot of potential but exciting is not the word i would use to describe him, atleast not at this point in his career

Well, I was pretty impressed with this guy.

He strikes well and has a good submission skills. Did you see that flying knee he threw? Despite the crappy opponent, I thought he was pretty creative and is very fun to watch.
