| Fedor v.s Cro-Cop 12-31-2006 for the belt!
Looks like the rematch is set-up for Pride's New Years Event. This will be a war, seems like Cro-Cop has the "eye of the tiger" determination again, that we were used to seeing when he was taking out everyone in crushing fashion. Fedor is the worlds greatest fighter, but I feel Mirko could pull off a win if he stays mildly-aggressive and fights a smart fight. Fedor went into the first fight with an awesome game plan. Cro-Cops GnP looked improved, as well as his sub-defense. I think a confident Mirko, along with an improved game plan = New Pride heavyweight champ for 2007. I beleive Cro-Cop is re-focused, and wants the title belt more than ever. Any thoughts, or comments?

If CroCop keeps his momentum from GP I think he stands a good chance to beat Fedor.

so why is Fedor fighting Coleman in Vegas, not for the belt? there goes Pride being shite again with another non-title fight where a champion faces off against a non-contender.

They need to bring in someone like Justin Eilers who is coming off of a lost to fight for his belt. And maybe make their card shit except for one fight, maybe then they'll be on the UFC's level.

Although I do think he will lose again just not so quick and in the fashion he did last time.
As far as the Fedor/CroCop rematch, I can not f***ing wait for that one! That could very well be the war to end all war's. I have to go with my boy Fedor in this one just because I can not root against him ever.

I see Fedor winning by decision, he'll just keep it on the ground and use his weight and power to stay on top and control the fight.
Fedor knows how dangerous it is to stay standing with Crocop, so if he can keep it on the ground he will.
If anyone can beat Fedor though, it's Crocop. It should be epic.

Cro Cop looked so good at the OWGP it was scary.... With that being said, I have a gut feeling that Fedor is going to destroy him.... One of those instances where the challenger has all this momentum and the masses are focusing on him, and the champ comes in and reminds us why he's the champ.
