| Sylvia comments on Nogueira Bleeding Edge™ - Tim Sylvia comments on UFC 81 Opponent: Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira Quote:
Tim Sylvia's comments regarding Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira:
“I truly believe he [Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira] is the best heavyweight jiu-jitsu fighter in the world today. I mean, he brings to the table being a former PRIDE heavyweight champion. He’s a stud. I’ve been watching him for a long time. I was watching Nogueira when I wasn’t even fighting, yet, when I was just training. When I started fighting, I was watching him and I was like, ‘Wow, I’d like to fight him one day. He’s really, really good.’ I truly believe he’s somebody I can go in there and beat and move me up in the rankings. Maybe, someday if everything goes right and we beat Nogueira, we can get Fedor (Emelianenko) to sign a fight. We’ll get to shut the world up after that.”
| We'll get to shut the world up after that he says, what a clown. Fedor will own Sylvia.

ps who you think is gonna win MONSON? | I think Nog is a far more superior fighter than Timmay, I just think Timm with his size is just going to make this a boring match where he runs around and just gets enough small taps on Nogs face that he gets a decision. I think tim always does just enough not to loose. Do not get this confused with doing enough just to win....I think he is terrible

I may be wrong but I think I remember reading somewhere that during negotiations with the UFC, it was mentioned that Fedor did not want to fight Sylvia
I do not like Tim but he poses problems for a lot of heavyweights. Dont get me wrong, I think Fedor would win, but dont be so quick to count Timmy out
I think Tim will beat Nog

I think Nog has a good chance to win this by sub. But regardless, fans will still boo Timmeh "poopy pants" Silvia no matter what the results are when it's over.
The guy is just a big ugly pimple on the butt of MMA.

yeah this has been posted but w/e
i think Tim will take this based on Nogs last fight, if he has adapted his ring game to the cage, then he will be unstoppable imo.

Im definatly going for Tim in this one. I think he has to power to KO Nog. There was a big hype when he came to the UFC and Herring almost won the fight with that head kick out of no where. I think if Tim gets Nog to stand with him we could see KO head kick, and we always like to see those head kicks, if Tims able to do this I think people would stop being so harsh on him. He has proven before that he can deliver a KO out of no where. I dont believe Nog deserved a title shot that soon, so I think Sylvia should take this one.
