I've said it many times but Ill say it again. If Vladdy could have made the cut to 205 without losing all his stamina he would have beaten Tito. Hes old so if he is ever going to prove how good he is he better leave the IFL, that was only suppose to the start of his comeback anyways.
never seen many of his fights...but i wasn't too impressed with him at the IFL grand prix. he fought alex shrodiner (spellcheck) for the belt and wasnt doin anything but taking him down repeatedly. the ref would stand em up...he'd immediatly shoot for another takedown. he wouldnt set it up with punches or anything. i guess it worked in his favor but he put on a really boring show.

What a horrible post. I guess taking someone down at will and passing into half-guard or attempting mount is not doing anything??? And what about those 10 or 11 left hooks he landed?

relax dude. i found the fight boring. perhaps you didnt. its not that big of a deal. i was more refering to the last round. its not like i feel alex should have won the fight. he did lose...and decisively. i just thought vladdy could have done a little more to set up those last few takedowns, not that he really needed to with the way he was manhandling him. just didnt really like how he'd immediatly shoot for another takedown after the fight just got stood up...thats all.
If I relax anymore, I'll fall asleep. Vlad worked him over. Badly. Whether you were entertained or not, he's a former national JC Champion in freestyle wrestling. That's what he does.

im not disputing the fact that he worked him over. as a matter of fact i stated just that in my last post. his wrestling is really good. wrestling and jujitsu are the best parts of mma imo. but even the crowd was booing in that last round because he just wasnt setting up his shots. like i said i havent seen many of his fights so i'm by no means an expert. im just goin by what i seen. perhaps they were both gassed by the end of that last round and vlad was just trying to score points. i'm not too sure.
