What is the definition of a "grounded opponent"? My friends and I were stumped on this and thought you guys could help

if anything other than their feet are touching the ground, i.e. a hand, knee, etc, then the opponent is grounded. you'll notice a lot that if someone is getting their takedown stuffed they'll drop to one knee or touch their hand to the floor to prevent knees to the head.
