| The Snake Diabate vs Chuck
Now I know the Snake's ground game isn't that good but against Chuck it wouldn't matter, the fight would just be a stand-up war. I don't know much about the Snake but I do know that Shogun, one of the very best strikers in mma, couldn't hang with him on the feet and had to take the fight to the ground. I think a fight with Chuck would be all stand-up. That's just the way Chuck chooses to fight. Could the Snake, a former world muay thai champion with an incredible reach advantage be the one to find a chink in Chuck's armor and beat him? Chuck, famous for his counter punches, may not be able to connect with anything solid against an opponent with such a reach advantage and such obvious talent at the stand-up game. I think the Snake stands a good chance at beating Chuck. It would at least make for an entertaining fight. An all-out slugfest. What do you all think about that prospective match-up?

Chuck would have to take him to the ground

| Shogun
I'm not taking anything away from Shogun, he did the smart thing by taking the fight to the ground where he would have an advantage. The point I was trying to make is that he was overwhelmed on the feet by the Snake. Now if Shogun, one of mma's very best strikers couldn't hang on the feet with the Snake, could Chuck? Thak was my point. Oh, and I also happen to believe that Shogun, even if he hadn't been coming off an injury and time off, would have still been overwhemed by the former world muai thai champion.

I was really impressed with the speed and power the Snake showed in his match. He is absolutely DOA when the fight goes to the ground tho. Chuck would be forced to take him down if this fight were to happen. Chuck cant counter punch when a guy is throwing kicks from 5 feet away. If he tried standing with the Snake he would be really likely to get a boot in the jaw. Chuck would still beat him but not be standing and trading...Snakes reach would be too much.

but the real question is Will Chuck take him down? if you ask me NO he wont why? cuz who is the snake to Chuck? I doubt he even knows who he is, why should he respect his standup game? Chuck probably feels he has the best standup game in MMA and would stand up with the Snake.. and IMO he'd lose if he did that.

If he stood with him he would get a rude awakening...by being put to sleep. I give chuck enough credit tho to research his opponents and bring a smart fight plan to the table. I think chuck would go for the take down. If he was able to do it match would end fairly quickly. I would give Chuck the edge in this match if it ever went down...Snake would def have a punchers/kickers chance tho.

I believe Shogun to be a better offensive wrestler then Chuck so I think the Ice Man would have a tougher time taking down a more MMA experienced Snake, IMO.
