are you fucking serious? Thats an awesome main event, kinda hoped to see Barnett in the UFC but apperantly he is hard to deal with. Good to finally see this two fight again, Barnett will win but Ill be pulling for Yoshida. This card could turn out to be a very good one, thanks for the info. Hopefully this thread ends up being more then 3 replies long.....

I would have rather of seen Roger vs. Yoshida. I think that fight would have been more competitive. Barnett will beat the shit out of Yoshida.

^I wasn't too hyped on seeing Barnett/Aleks II. I think it would have ended the same way as the first. I really wanted to see Roger make his second MMA appearance. Yoshida would have given him a nice test. I am glad that Barnett is finally returning to MMA though.
Also, this fight has been announced on SENGOKU's official website: SENGOKU OFFICIAL WEBSITE |

Definitely shaping up to be a good card, but i wanted to see Barnett V. Aleks more, the first match was great and if Aleks came in shape into this one i would see him winning. Though maybe the want to give Barnett a easier fight setting up his fight with fedor down the road. Anyway it'll be good to see Gomi back in the ring and even Baroni. Hopefully someone will step up and fill the void that pride left in Japan.

Well..
-listens-
.... Oh seriously....
No one... not a word?
Are you kidding?
Everyone BITCHES AND MOANS about Fedor not fighting a top ten guy and staying up in the rankings.. but no one has a word to say about Barnett? Didn't fight all last year, at least Fedor did... Barnett lost his last match no less and no says jack about him and his ranking..
Simply amazing....
[/rant]
Anyway, I wasn't crazy about Aleks/Barnett II.. this should be a little more interesting

There's a very big gap between considering someone the #1 in the world, vs. simply a top-5. It's like two completely different situations.
Fedor has a whole lot more buzz around him as a fighter than Barnett does, and it's been that way for years; therefore the buzz turns negative when he's not fighting other top-5 or at least top-10 HW's. Barnett, who has little buzz, also has little negative buzz.
