Man, some of these people are entirely too critical =P

As ninjastix said, i think some of you need to give the guy a break. Second fight ever and he fought Mir, who provided a HORRIBLE match-up for him? Sure his adrenaline was pumping: the dude was friggin' excited to be fighting in the octagon! Can you seriously blame him? I love how some of you are saying "Oh he needs to control that adrenaline and calm down". Much easier said than done, especially for a guy in his second MMA fight, fighting in the god damn UFC. So I don't think ANYBODY can fault him for that .

The dude is bringing excitement and hype not only to the HW division, but to the UFC in general! No matter how negative and critical you guys are, you really need to look at that aspect of it and respect it. And respect the man for doing what he did in his second MMA fight.

I personally took a liking to Brock just seeing his audacity and new-found commitment to this sport. Then, after seeing him fight in the octagon, I became a full-time fan and I personally cannot wait to watch him improve. I'm not going to speculate too much, but I think with the right training and some more experience, this dude is going to see some serious success in the HW division.

I can see Brock becoming the new Marcus Davis.

He knows his wrestling is stellar, he knows his strength is there too.

I'll put money down saying he'll come back and win his next fight, just because now he knows he has large holes in the game. He'll work on whatever aspect seems the weakest. Work and work and work and work, then go back to wrestling and strength training once whatever hole needs fixing is fixed, Just like Davis.

Once he gets a decent hold on some JJ, maybe better fluidity with striking, he'll be phenominal.

The guy is a professional, with arguably one of the top 10 salaries in the organization...he was not striking professionally, he was flailing away. I can fault him for that.

But more than that, I fault the UFC hype machine, wanting to immediately cash in on his WWE fans and putting him in a main event a year before he was ready for one.

No flammage...I agree...even people who said they routinely kicked his ass in practice have good things to say about his work ethic, so I imagine the holes will get smaller and smaller as time goes on. I just don't know that the UFC will give him the time he needs.

I would add patience to the list of things things he needs. Part of being effective when you are so explosive is knowing when to turn it on and turn it off. If he goes in careless, he'll get caught again and again.

On the other hand, if he'd been patient and timed big, accurate shots instead of striking willy-nilly, he could have TKO'd Mir.

Lesnar was doing great - he definitely earned my respect. I think maybe he was trying for too fast of a pace. I look forward to seeing more of him, that's for sure.
