|  Brandon Vera Reveals June Return And He Wish To Fight Arlovski

UFC heavyweight Brandon Vera, currently sidelined due to injury, revealed over the weekend that he expects to make his return to the Octagon in June, against an unnamed opponent.
“I will be fighting in June, but I do not know exactly who I will be fighting,” Vera is quoted as saying in an article by Gary Herman on 15rounds.com. “There are a couple of names being thrown around, but nothing is official.”
Vera last fought at UFC 77 in October, where he suffered a disappointing unanimous decision loss to Tim Sylvia.
While Vera’s next opponent is uncertain, he did express a desire in taking on one fighter in particular.
“I would love to fight Andrei Arlovski,” Vera stated in the article. “He is someone I really look up to.”
While Vera vs. Arlovski would be an intriguing matchup, it’s one that is unlikely to happen unless the former heavyweight champion signs an extension with the UFC. Arlovski is scheduled to become a free agent on April 15 with the last bout on his current contract scheduled for UFC 82 on March 2 against Jake O’Brien.

if its not arlovski, i have no idea who it could be instead. mir's on the comeback trail and they're not gonna rematch anytime soon, and i don't think they'll match him up with tim again, either. it'll probably be a can for lack of a better opponent which sucks but i'm glad to see him back in action

He's fought to many already and it would be nice to see him defeat someone of high caliber.

i just realized that lesnar's supposed to fight on the june card in london, so maybe these two go at it in june. interesting fight if it happens

I'm thinkin' Vera/Cro Cop. Both coming off loses, both have something to prove. Plenty of time to set it up. I'd love to see that fight. They could both use a big win.

Im a fan of Brandon Vera but if he fights AA i thank he gonna Lose !!! He should fight Ol Boy who threw Heath like a Rag Doll against da Cage. Or mayb Gonzaga or Werdum.

I think Vera could beat AA and if he doean't then he should definantly move to 205.

The only possible that i can see for Arlovski to win is via boring decision.
