Fedor isn’t a real fighter, he’s a complete joke.

“He’s fighting middleweights and guys who have absolutely no business fighting – and he’s looking like s*** doing it.

“It’s 2008 and he hasn’t had a real fight since 2005. I don’t care about what he did in PRIDE years ago - he can’t live with anyone in the top five in the UFC and that’s why he’s not here.

“He’s not in the UFC because if he was he couldn’t avoid real competition like he’s been doing for years now.

Just what I was thinking, and no way does Big Nog beat him now.

I'm as frustrated as anyone about Fedor signing to a fluff organization like M-1, but to say that he's a complete joke is just unforgivably ignorant.

I still say Arlovski would beat him, though.

LMFAO, he was so eager to get Fedor signed and they tried for months. Since he signed with another org, Dana is obviously feeling bitter about it. Dana is actually probably just tired of everyone asking questions about the whole Fedor/Randy thing that it has him shooting off at the mouth.

What a bad mistake to make. This will alienate him from hardcore fans that actually know & respect Fedor.

Dana touted that a deal with Fedor was nearly done and then months later makes a statement like this. The joke here is unfortunately on Dana as it makes him look like a sour grapes ridden spoiled child.

I agree with Dana except that I don't think Fedor has looked like shit doing it.

I agree with Dana that Fedor hasn't had a real fight since 2005. I do not agree that he can't hang with the UFC top five. However, I do think that some of the UFC top five have the ability to beat Fedor.

I completely agree with Dana on this, and you can flame away at me all you want. The UFC would put him against contenders in every bout. There is no way UFC would offer him fights like he is getting in M1. I still think Fedor can defeat top competition, but he is definitely avoiding big time opponents.



Lastly, I agree with all the posters that Dana is only saying this shit because he is upset that Fedor didn't sign with UFC. However, that doesn't make the comments themselves meritless.

I think it's pretty widely accepted that a big part of Fedor deciding not to sign with the UFC is the fact that the UFC would not let him pick and choose his fights or turn down opponents like he did in PRIDE. Dana is just expressing this in his own pattented way.
