Good Lord! I had to read that title twice because I was trying to figure out what Larry Flint wanted with Mark Hunt.

The WHOLE Mark Hunt can't make weight thing is a myth. Hunt walked around at 250-260 in PRIDE. He can more than make weight for the UFC.

Chances are, Hunt didn't want to do MMA anymore (or be with the UFC).

Maybe Hunt just wanted to do pro-wrestling..

And yeah, I think Hunt would have gone over real well in the UFC.. the guy who cannot be KOed..

Mark Hunt is almost 34 years old and has been in over 50 kickboxing matches. He might have figured that it was just time to stop beating up his body that way since I dont see him winning a title in the UFC. If he can get paid similar money in Pro Wrestling, why not at this stage of his career?

Hunt was 250 for his fight with Cro Cop, the best he has ever looked (in mma).

After winning the K-1 GrandPrix like he did he doesn't really have to prove himself by signing with the UFC. If he is done in the fight game then power to him, but I would have liked to have seen him fight some more. His last fight was a good way to end it though

He was never a top 10.. Maybe a top 20... maybe... He only beat one quality HW and that was Cro Cop.... He beat Wandy who he outweighed by at least 50+ lbs, and that went to a decision....

Other than that, the other top HW opponents he fought (Fedor, and Barnett) both sub'd him in the first round...

But he was fun to watch, I would just hope to see that big KO power he possessed... Oh well.. He can stay in Hustle, and play with the transvestite midgets....

I'm sure individual rankings will disagree, but he was widely regarded, by a variety of sites as top 10 when he fought Fedor, regardless of what fightlinker might have indicated to you.

This is the HW division, I'm not talking p4p, so outweighing anyone doesn't matter.
