i know that its a UFC.com article
hence why they regard all these talented up and comers as "the top of the division," instead of what they are. up and comers.

Let him work on his wrestling, and he'll definitely be a force to reckon with in 08. I have a distinct feeling BJ may make everyone at 155 look just like that. After going up in weight and getting used to fighting guys who are stronger and heavier, BJ may roll through LWs like a middleweight would. I would wait to see what Joe does against the rest of the division before you write him off. He may very well be in the top 10.

I agree with you that anyone with talent embarasses him, and I was pointing out that if Wiman wasn't foolishly looking to high-five him after getting popped in the face, Spencer would probably have never landed that flying knee.
He's a good, solid, likeable guy. He's just not a top 20 LW. He's everything Chris Leben should be, but isn't.

rh | no, i understood what you were saying. i just quoted you because i agree and i explained myself because integer seemed not to get what we were saying. he's definitely a likeable guy and "everything Chris Leben should be" is the perfect way to describe him.

So I think both of those guys in a fight today could ethier beat or at least give one hell of a fight to Gomi or JZ.
As for the other guys, Joe Daddy is still a Top 10 LW. He just ran into a buzzsaw called BJ Penn. He is also only 25, so he has a lot of time to get up to the next level, which I think is only around the corner for him.

I would like to see Guida on that list
I honestly think at this point that Guida could beat everyone but BJ and Sherk...
He's got amazing heart, cardio, confidence...just give him a little more experience against really good fighters and expect big things from him...(not to say that he hasnt already fought really good fighters)

someone can't read. i was talking about Huerta, Guida, Griffin, Tavares.
Gomi or JZ would beat their asses within 10 minutes, just like BJ would. Sherk would hold them for 25 minutes, but thats different.
