i know that its a UFC.com article

hence why they regard all these talented up and comers as "the top of the division," instead of what they are. up and comers.

i have no hate for fisher, i just don't think he's very good. aside from the win over a green alves, every good fighter he's gone against has embarassed him. even an 18 year old dan lauzon had him in trouble before he gassed. i'll always tune in for a fisher fight because he's damned entertaining, but i think he loses to everyone on this list except maybe tavares and only because tavares looked bad in his last fight.

You may be right, but I wouldn't judge Stevenson so harshly because of his fight with Penn. I have a distinct feeling BJ may make everyone at 155 look just like that. After going up in weight and getting used to fighting guys who are stronger and heavier, BJ may roll through LWs like a middleweight would. I would wait to see what Joe does against the rest of the division before you write him off. He may very well be in the top 10.

Oh, I should have explained myself...I think he's entertaining, and doesn't annoy the shit out of me in interviews, I just see him as a gatekeeper at best. I agree with you that anyone with talent embarasses him, and I was pointing out that if Wiman wasn't foolishly looking to high-five him after getting popped in the face, Spencer would probably have never landed that flying knee.

He's a good, solid, likeable guy. He's just not a top 20 LW. He's everything Chris Leben should be, but isn't.

no, i understood what you were saying. i just quoted you because i agree and i explained myself because integer seemed not to get what we were saying. he's definitely a likeable guy and "everything Chris Leben should be" is the perfect way to describe him.

Ummm, Penn already beat Gomi and Sherk beat Diaz who submitted Gomi. So I think both of those guys in a fight today could ethier beat or at least give one hell of a fight to Gomi or JZ.

As for the other guys, Joe Daddy is still a Top 10 LW. He just ran into a buzzsaw called BJ Penn. He is also only 25, so he has a lot of time to get up to the next level, which I think is only around the corner for him.

I would like to see Guida on that list

I honestly think at this point that Guida could beat everyone but BJ and Sherk...

He's got amazing heart, cardio, confidence...just give him a little more experience against really good fighters and expect big things from him...(not to say that he hasnt already fought really good fighters)

someone can't read. i was talking about Huerta, Guida, Griffin, Tavares.
Gomi or JZ would beat their asses within 10 minutes, just like BJ would. Sherk would hold them for 25 minutes, but thats different.
