Ok To hook the glove, go to UFC.com go the videos section and watch tim sylviyas post fight comments, he says nogueira hooked his glove for the sweep which as sylviya points out, nogueira stuck his hand in between sylviyas glove and wrist and used that to pull him over

watch the video, Nog had one hand under Tims leg and the other hand holding across Tims wrist it would not have been possible to hook his glove the way he was holding it. I watched the video prolly 10 times after i watched Tims post fight interview and he said "yeah he hooked my glove and got the sweep" he is just crying like he does after every loss he has had. My back hurts, he hooked my glove, I was on my period...

Hell Big NOG had to do something cause that ass was getting whooped!!! Who knows, maybe if he gets to fight Couture, he may try the infamous Happy Gilmore "Captain Insano" eye poke!

Wandy got a smell of Liddels armpit^ lol
back on topic, good example of using the glove as an advantage was Kharitonov vs Russow. Sergei had the armbar in but held onto the glove so Russow wouldn't have a chance to escape.
anyway, im glad Kharitonov won that fight

Honestly I dont care if he did hook the glove. Guys grab ahold of those gloves to defend submissions all the time in RNC situations. If Nog can get the gloves to go in the other direction for once then screw it.....he won one for BJJ.

How in the fuck while wearing gloves do you manage to get your hand in between your opponents hand and glove (which should be fairly tight)? I call bullshit on that one He could have gotten his fingers in there but I can't see that giving you some sort of astounding advantage when you already have ahold of his wrist, especially since you really risk braking some fingers.
I don't think Nog is making excuses, since he always loses the first couple minutes of a fight but is just calling Tim out on it.
