and thats the problem. Jackson wanted GSP, and GSP was cool with training there too.
its on both, but in the situation, GSP has the excuse of being professional, Jackson had to know what that would mean.

GSP left? Uh, no man.. Renzo basically said, don't come back Georges, because of what he said about Serra.

Jackson wanted GSP.... GSP needs a camp, a camp which can further his career... GSP accepts... he is a jerk?

I don't see how that chain of events makes him a jerk. Sorry, but the only one to blame is Jackson... who I don't blame either for wanting to add one of the best fighters in the UFC to his roster... GSP doesn't need to tip toe around Diego and his sensitivity.

Diego is pissed because he wasn't the top dog anymore, it is as simple as that. If someone who was top ten, but behind him on a title shot, had entered the camp, Diego probably would have cared less. If Diego left because he doesn't want to be with GSP because he thinks he will challenge GSP one day, then that is fine.. but give me a break.

I guess every LHW (or just Forrest Griffin, if it makes you happy) in Xtreme Couture should have left when Randy signed Wanderlei, because that is the same concept. Doesn't make much sense, does it?

Dude, it is a training camp, and if most of your top fighters are in the same organization, chances are, you will be training amongst people who could be your opponent if you agreed to it. Welcome to training camps.

first of all, that was just were GSP went for BJJ technique, a few weeks to learn from Renzo. that was not his camp. he went to Jacksons first as champ for part of his training camp, for a few weeks to work out with Rashad and Marquardt for the Hughes fight, then he dumped his camp entirely and went to Jackson's for his whole training camp, after the Serra loss.

and training partners dont fight each other. not for belts. friends could, but real training partners wouldnt fight each other for anything.

GSP left his camp officially and went to Team Jackson after the Serra fight (maybe I should have been more clear). Officially joined Team Jackson after the Serra fight... So, where exactly am I talking out of my ass? He lost his deal with Renzo, and knew he needed to find a new camp... once again, where am I talking out of my ass? Renzo's team > BTT.. so, why would he bother keeping that set up anymore?

Anyone who saw the countdown show to UFC 69 would know that GSP trained at that camp part time. Not to mention that there are about 100 different outlets to let you know that GSP didn't train there full time.

No panties bunched my friend. And, GSP is not my precious.. that is Cro Cop I know if anyone decides to defend GSP, they are hugging his nuts.. I know that is the popular belief.

When you said GSP has the excuse of being a professional.. I thought you meant in the sense of being a professional by not joining Jackson's camp.

^^ To me, that is YOU blaming GSP.. maybe I am just crazy? You also say its on both, but GSP has an excuse... if GSP has an excuse, then it isn't on him is it? If you changed your thoughts on blaming him, that is fine too.

Never said training partners "did" fight... I merely explained that they could co-exist on the same team. I never said they did fight.

the fact that Jackson brought in the champ when he had a top 5 possible contender just really sends me the wrong message.

after the Karo and Riggs wins, there was no reason not to think he was top 5. hes still top 5, and i see no reason to think why anyone outside of the top 5 or 6 guys would even beat him. Fitch and Koscheck in hardly dominating fights, are the only guys to have done it ever.
