This says a lot.

There must not have been a NASCAR race the weekend this event was held.
Rednecks need entertainment as much as the next guy.

MAN! I wish I could fight as good as that when I was their age. But in all seriousness, fighting is fighting, this was and technically should be natural as old tribes used to have children fight to build them up as strong warriors. EVEN THOUGH it is morally wrong, it's just a bunch of hicks cockfighting their children. Moral of the story, love your children. Give them a hug once in a while instead of a remote control.

I dont agree with this. However they have boxing for kids this age and everybody on here makes the argument that boxing is more dangerous than MMA. I also think the fight should have been stopped a bunch of times.

That being said can you imagine that little red head when he is like 18? or 25?

anyway, here's the vid....i ain't gonna lie, kid's got talent!!! but he's way too young!!!!

if kids are going to train, they should get to compete.
there are lots of regulations and shit for amateur shit for kids. i've seen some kids that are actually pretty good at jits, and some kids that can box

but this shit is fucked up, and these promoters should be in jail if they made money off of having kids fight under pro rules with pro gloves. nobody under the age of 18 can fight pro under any sort of sanctioning, and thats for a reason.

i think they should follow boxing's example, kids should be able to compete, but with added rules and protection.

If there's any way to put these guys in jail, I hope they put them under the fucking building.
I agree I don't think these companies should profit off these events. It would be to easy to explote these kids.

The way I see it any sport where the direct objective of the sport is to cause a concussion shouldn't be open to kids as young as 8. Could cause some serious damage in development. Just because you want a sport to be more socially acceptable, doesn't mean kids should be doing it. Hell, Nascar is what, the most popular spectator sport? There ain't no 8 years olds doing laps at Daytona.

And this fight was just ridiculous. The ref should have stopped the fight at many points but instead stood it back up so the kids could go at it some more.
