I don't know how his record is overall, but Guy Mezger's fights with Wand, Chuck, Sakuraba, Arona, etc. make him look a lot better than you'd think he is if you saw his record against top competition on paper.

Mezger because somehow every judge ever hates him and his family.
but overall, Randy Couture takes it easily, because his record is horrible.

Mezger was a hell of a fighter. He lost to most of the top contenders but took most of them to their limits and came close to beating them every time.

Clay Guida at 23-9 is someone who's recent streak has hurt his overall record some. While putting on great fight and great fight he has lost some pretty close calls. He's only 1-3 in his last four which sounds horrible if you didn't know how close those fights actually were.

Clay Guida is 22-9 and 3 of those losses are within the last year each of which were incredible fights. Not that 22-9 is a bad record, but that easily coulda been 25-6. His record, IMO, is a little misleading.
