| Luke Cummo vs Ross Pointon
So is ross dropping down to welterweight now??
Interesting match as both like to stand, I actually see ross with the advantage because he hits harder, though is ground is pitiful.

I like ross and I want to see him win at least once...but this time won't be it...I think dana is givning him one more oppurtinity because he stepped in during TUF 3 when no one else would

I pray to God Ross has worked on ONLY sub defense since his last fight... but I have a terrible feeling he hasn't. I think he'll get tapped out, unfortunately.

At the time they fought, Luke gave Joe Stevensen the fight of his life. Luke definitely has the heart, and if he’s continued to evolve like he did when he trained for the Stevensen fight, then I don’t think Pointon has a chance.
I, too, agree that Dana’s probably giving Pointon a chance since he was the only one to step up during the TUF program.
edit: source for the fight

Ross Pointon gave Mike Bisping trouble! hes bad techincally but the dudes like a miny Tank Abbott, I think Cummo vs Pointon would be an exciting fight cuz they both like to stand and can throw, if it goes to the ground I hope it ends quick cuz I wouldnt be too excited to see that but they would probably do a lot of standing.

If i remember right, Pointon hit bisping with a lucky punch that stunned bisping, then Bisping took him down and subbed his ass.
His next fight, vs rory singer, he lost again due to submission in 44 secs in the first round!
I HIGHLY doubt that Cummo wants to slug with a slugger, most likely he will take him down, and sub him.
