Same old story, guy fights, guy loses, guy says he has no respect for the man who beat him. Cry me a river.

Unless I misunderstood correctly he seems to be dissing kung fu and not where he's from. I see it as a pro Karate thing. It could easily be taken the wrong way.

I don't even see the big deal about the comment, as Severn said, Machida said Soko should have trained Karate when he was training in the jungle, or something to that effect, it's a pro Karate thing, and certainly nothing racist cause Soko is he one that uses the whole jungle fighter image thing.
Machida was just kinda throwing it back at him by saying maybe you should have learned some Karate in the jungle, pretty harmless (and funny) if you ask me.

Both of them are not O.k. But imagine if Dana is the one who said that he should learning Karate in the jungle and he said that to Soko, MMA News Boards would probably Explode b/c there's no way he'd get away with it and he would be looking for a new Job.

like if I were to say "Machida is fucking dirty" someone may think I believe he is un-hygenic, someone else may think I believe he breaks the rules, when in reality I am saying he is an awesome fighter
in other words, "lost in translation" is simply mis-understood
IMO Machida was just trying to say Karate > Everything else (like he has said before)
