Gary Shaw is a clown. Brock WILL be a star. Him losing to Mir just ensures that he'll have to climb the ranks the right way, gaining experience and skills. He's gonna wear the belt sometime early 2009 (my prediction, obviously)

Yeah, just your basic inter-promotional mud slinging contest, he knows he's wrong.

Blah Blah Blah Gary!! You may treat your fighters well but you should not be telling Dana anything about promotion. Gary You are the one who droped the ball when you lost out on all those Pride fighters and if you were to feed Brock cans like you are doing Kimbo no true fan will care. Seems like the only fights we like from your org are the ones that include STRIKEFORCE anyway> |

All i have to say about this topic is that on different forums and articles, before the fight alot of people were dissing brock, saying he was gonna be terrible and do terrible. After seeing the fight I say at least 85% said they think brock will do good after training more and generally changed their views.

I agree with this board comments. If Brock had fought a can, I would probably spit at UFC for making that happen. Mir vs Brock was a "good" matchup.
The only thing I guess the "Gary Shaw" is right on is Brock's opponent.
I think it would have been better to put Brock vs Boxers(not can boxer) rather than a Submission master... Then again... Brock could have got knocked out, and END GAME...?
Atleast Brock was able to show what he's made of with his fight against Mir.

gary should just stop talking and start looking for his next big star....from the internet again. i mean how can a guy compare himself to what dana and the ufc are doing when his next main event is a unproven internet brawler vs a washed up ex ufc fighter. gary shaw should be glad that shows free on showtime

To use one of Dana's favorite phrases...Gary Shaw's retarded. Unreal.
