Yeah, they dropped the ball with Leben-Koscheck II. Most people probably don't even remember their feud, at least enough to make it a money main event on an Ultimate Fight Night card, or at least a really anticipated semi-main on a PPV.

Leben-Swick II is the one I want to see though.

give me Leben vs Luigi II! That's the one everybody wants to see lol. In all seriousness I couldn't careless to see Koscheck vs Leben II. Koscheck's fights don't excite me one bit. If I could see any TUF rematch it would be Griffin vs Bonnar II. I am shocked this fight hasn't happened yet. It would make a ton of money with all the newer fans the UFC has these days.

Yeah but they're both on the cusp of being certified stars who can lose and still be considered not only a star, but a top fighter (esp. Griffin). And they got the goods to be just that. Like an Ortiz who can lose 100 times and still be a star, still be a top fighter, those two are RIGHT THERE. If they woulda rematched real quick then one of those two wouldn't be in that position right now. Build them up like they've done, to where shit Forrest should be on some top 10's out there at 205 lbs., with Bonnar in an honorable mention role. Once they both hit top 10 status, shit now not only do you have a rematch featuring two of the most popular stars, and two who had maybe the best UFC fight ever, but shit now it's important because they're both top 10, and in the UFC shit they're top 5 at 205. Now you got a fight that actually means something other than a novelty "watch a rematch of an exciting fight from two TUF guys"

I know it's all business, but it could be a big risk if either guy is upset or has a couple of losses. It will take away from the hype IMO. People will still want to see it, just a little less. UFC is definitely setting this up for the future though, it's apparent with the bogus win Bonnar got vs Jardine. Jardine pretty much worked him.

I hate to keep disagreeing with you, but I had Bonnar winning that fight. However, I only watched it once - live. So if I ever get around to rewatching it maybe I'll see what everyone else saw. To me, watching it live, it was one of those fights where every round was so close either guy could have got the decision and it wouldn't of been "bullshit", and I wouldn't complain to whoever got it. In a close fight like that, someone has to win. I wouldn't of complained if they gave it to Jardine, even though I had Bonnar winning, simply because watching it live it seemed that close to me.

I don't mind the disagreement, it would get boring if we agreed on everything. I only watched it once as well. I just thought Jardine did more damage, especially with those leg kicks. I was even rooting for Bonnar to win. Bonnar seemed really out of it. I don't know if the fight was after Carlson had died, if so that may have had something to do with his performance. I just didn't see him doing enough to win at all. It was many bowls ago, so my memory may be distorted. At the time though I totally though that Jardine had won.

The problem with these close fights is that whatever the decision people will argue the outcome.

Ortiz Vs Griffin. If the judges gave it to Griffin the crowd would have booed & the forums would be filled with people saying Ortiz got shafted. Same if Penn got the W over St Pierre & Bonnar over Griffin (I've not seen the Jardine fight).

By & large I agree with the outcome of most of the close fights, but the scoring is BS.

But getting back to Bonnar Vs Griffin 2, I think Bonnar is so far up Griffin's arse since the TUF final that it'll take a Lidell/Ortiz size falling out before this match is on again.

Nah friendship schmenship. They both want that rematch, and when the time is right - they'll get it. I got a feeling it won't be long until they're matched up again.

I agree with Boone. I don't see their friendship really getting in the way. They don't go way back or anything, don't even know if they train together at all. I am sure they are buddies but both of these guys love to fight anybody, anywhere, anytime. I am sure they would fight eachother any time the UFC decides to set it up.

Forrest and Bonnar don't give a shit about friendship. They have the kind of mentality of taking on anyone.Yeah there friends ,but i'm sure they'd gladly get back in the ring beat the fuck out of each other for some money. It'd be a great rematch.I think that Bonnar would walk out victorious this time though.
