The truth is that is in fact not just an entertaining sport...It's a business. Every once in a while the ugly business side has to show its face. It's unfortunate and unfair to the fans.. but...At the same time...It is what it is.

I really enjoy watching Arlovski and Kos fight. Unfortunately for me though.... unless they make the televised broadcast i'll miss their fights. As pissed as I am about it...I understand and i'm not going to sacrifice one of the most anticipated fights in recent history because of it. The bottom line is Arlovski is leaving the UFC and Kos can't finish fights. It's not fair that we don't get to see them even though they both deserve to be televised... but...Like I said...MMA is a young sport and as it grows and works out the kinks... the business aspect will show its nasty side every once in a while.

There are so many great fighters on the card, which makes for some great fights. When seeing all the fights, I thought which five fights would I like to see on the main card? I think it should be of course Henderson vs. Silva. I think the other four should be Sakara vs. Leben, Herring vs. Kongo, Tanner vs. Okami, and Arlovski vs. O'Brien. Unlike most people it's not just to see Arlovski again but also to see O'Brien again. He was killing folks before his long layoff. So the UFC doesn't want the fans to see Arlovski do well, especially if they think he might leave. Which I don't really understand because he said time after time that he wants to stay. But if he does go, this is understandable in the business sense. While I not saying that it will happen I think O'Brien has a good shoot at upseting AA. If this does happen, the UFC will be kicking themselves. This would promote O'Brien as an up incomer and leave AA realing as he swiches organizations. IMO the UFC is not doing themselves any favors with their actions lately (Banning Affliction shirts). Pety little acts like this and not giving or shower fighter that might leave their organization, is going to hurt them a little with the fans. So why not just give the fans what they want. Just put the AA fight on pay- per- view. If O'Brien happens to win, all the better for the UFC.


Also If there could be a six fight on the card I would rather watch the Koscheck vs. Hazelett over the Fitch vs. Wilson fight. Just because I think it will be a better match- up.

Now this doesn't matter,because last week I got tickets to the show. Those who are going should stop by the UFC booth at the Arnold Classic to get tons of autographs. Last year I got A. Silva's

i feel the same way bro, i cant imagine andrei being on the prelims, its just not possible, but like you said, ufc duznt want him to show a great fight, then he ends up leaving.
