Penn and GSP come to mind!
if you want to see the "perfect fighter" though...genetically engineer a fighter with Chuck, Tito, and Randy DNA in him! LMAO

Josh Barnett.
I always found him to be one fo the most technically sound fighters and he rarely fails to impress me when he gets someone on the ground.
He seems know exactly what he's doing and I would pick him as one of the most complete and entertaining fighters.
Of course, there are others but I thought I would leave a mention about Barnett
I just he loses that fat arouind his waist and he would look somewhat like a real fighter |

most have been mentioned, but ONE that i think deserves to be mentioned is:
Kazushi "The Gracie Hunter" Sakuraba
20-9-1 may not seem like an incredible record, but he's proved that he has incredible submissions, great ground game, good strikes, and his leg kicks are sick.
he's lost to top notch fighters like Vovchanchyn, Wanderlei (2 times i think), Cro Cop, Big Nog etc..

Its hard to distinguish "complete" fighters.. Mostly b/c a fighters success isn't always contingent on being well rounded. Ie Mirko..

but i disagree with the Cro Cop example. Cro Cop is WELL ROUNDED, he just doesn't show his ground skills. He has trained with Fabricio Werdum and apparently his defense against submissions have gotten a whole lot better from the training.
so in my opinion Cro Cop is another example of a well rounded fighter.
