Well, Cro Cop needs to answer some questions.. unless Dana released him, or offered him a paycut, or there is a good reason of some sort.. this isn't good for him.
Note: Some Credit to NinjaShogunRua as well.

Well maybe Cro Cop can get his game back now that he is fighting in Japan again. And imo a paycut was not unfair considering the performances he was giving.

Holy crap, as one of the biggest Crocop fans on these boards, I gotta say I'm really really disappointed that he left the UFC in the manner he did. Going out on 2 losses is not something I want to see happen. I don't know if I'll ever look at Crocop the same, this is a sad day for me. Quote:

I hate to see him end up somewhere that there isn't any real comp lined up.

I wonder how long before the UFC/Dana make a statement on this. Or if they will take the silent approach and not even notify the casual fan of his departure to this new org. I have to chime in with the rest and say how disappointed I am with his tenure in the UFC, its borderline nausiating. To be at the top of his career and then come to the states and look downright sloppy is a sad mark on his career. Not really sure who he has to fight thats legit, but at this point he could use a few W's to get back on track. Im sure if he slaps around 2-3 guys for dream....they will GLADLY set up a cross promo with Fedor. Even then, im not all that pleased with him leaving the UFC on 2 losses. I will say this, DREAMs lw pool is lookin fucking nasty. Cant wait for the GP to start.

i'm sure dana and the rest of them couldnt care less that Cro Cop is fighting in Japan. Think about how much money they had to dish out to him every time he fought a shitty fight? Cro Cop did the UFC a favor by leaving, and this will undoubtedly tarnish Cro Cop's legacy. I bet Dana is going to be talking all kinds of trash like "mirko was never that great..i mean u see what happened to him when he fought ufc fighters." this sucks...i was a big fan of mirko and still am, but his legacy has been tarnished by this...no doubt about it

Well, all questions will be answered when he arrives in Croatia.... they better be anyway. I can't say anything but I will have quite a hard time swallowing it if Cro Cop left the UFC.
But my honest opinion is that Dana let Cro Cop go.. that whole thing with the deadline was really shady.

Never in a million years would I have expected Cro Cop to run. Wow.
I would have infinitely more respect for him if he had just held a press conference and retired. "I can no longer compete at a level that I demand of myself. I wish to thank the UFC for giving me a chance. By the way, it sucks to get KTFO by a headkick. I wish to apologize to Wanderlei Silva and Igor Vovchanchyn."
