| bj penn's chance
I heard that he isn't doing all day training and cutting his training for this fight because it burns him out by the fight. do you think this is true and should he be training full time if he really wants this?

Penn >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hughes
He should be going all out in his training though because he took this fight on short notice.. when it comes down to skill hes the much much more talented fighter then Hughes, but fighting is all about the preparation.

The man whopped his ass once and still gets no respect.

If BJ Penn brings his A game he beats Matt Hughes 10 times out of 10 BJ Penn is not a good match-up for Hughes, just like how Arona beats Wandy a good 7 times out of 10 because Arona is so techincally sound, and has the best takedowns in MMA that he can control the fight.. BJ Penn is techincally sound with a complete game and Matt cannot standup with Penn, it will be extremely hard for him to submit Penn, and it wont be easy to take him down or GnP but thats what Matt Hughes will have to do because Penn can get Hughes on the ground, Penn can dominate him standing, Penn can submit Hughes.

Bottom line BJ is a better all around fighter and if he brings his a game Hughes is done again.

You can't say how ceratain fighters should prepare because everyone is diffrent. Bj is not going to "train like a professional athelete" is what he said and people get all up in arms. This does not mean he is not training this just means he is not training on a "normal" training routine. He even said he is going to the gym everyday at 10 pm at night when no one is there. I remember everyone making cracks about Frank Shamrock when he was doing Yoga to train for some fights and it didn't seem to hurt him any. Let BJ train the way he needs to train an let the cards fall where they may.

And just so all of you know I'm not even a Hughes fan, I just think since their last fight he's improved alot more than B.J.
