I can't blame him for the mouth piece thing. He got hit hard and his mouth piece went flying. I know if I'm fighting someone like Rob I want my piece in if I'm gonna trade shots. Kudos to Varner for teeing off on Robs face.
I think Rob was stunned at the fact that he was getting outstruck by 2-3 punch combos that went all over from body shots to uppercuts. Like most times the striker was outstruck and didn't have a back-up plan. Rob was landing some solid hits to but I don't think he was prepared for Varner's stand-up.

I found it quite funny that Rob's GAMMA-O commercial, in which he's holding the LW belt and calls himself the LW Champ, aired right after he got KTFO by Varner.

I guess GAMMA-O needs to do a re-shoot

Varner showed exactly what a great straight jab can do to a Knockout striker. Rob could not get off a shot against that straight jab as Rob throws lead hooks. Rob had no answers and looked frustrated and gassed. Varner sucked the wind out of Rob the first round by trying to take him down endlessly. Great game plan. Boxing skills do pay off in MMA.

If Rob would have thrown more kicks, he would have had a better chance in the fight. Varner kept getting caught with kicks but Rob didn't throw too many.

Jamie varner whooped his ass and knocked him out pretty bad. There was a break in the action and he stuck the mouth piece back in, there is nothing wrong here this is just for excuse purposes.
