| Frank Trigg: Kimbo Slice, you must lose. Trigg weighs in on Slice v Abbott Quote:
By Frank Trigg/MMAjunkie.com
Who do you think you are — stepping into my sport with a couple of street fights under your belt? How many of them were real? How many of them were more than just pizza-delivery boys you were trying to rob of their lunch money? “YouTube is a hell of a drug” (said in my best Rick James voice).
I don’t care if you train with one of the best trainers in MMA today in Bas Rutten, and have one of the best kicking coaches in Shawn Tompkins. I don’t care you show up on time and train hard and listen to and do exactly what both of the aforementioned coaches tell you to. Tank Abbott will give you a lesson in how a real fight goes, how a real MMA fighter punches. Tank is no Ray Mercer. Tank has been there, done that, and can do it in his sleep. Tank has great takedown defense and decent submission defense, and he will punch you harder than those welders you fought on my computer have ever punched you.
I get it that Tank is five years past his prime (if he ever really had one). I get it he never really trains for a fight. This time, he does. He came on my radio show (listen to the episode at taggradio.com) and said he is training for this one. He had the time and hooked up with his old partners and wants you to eat his lunch.
Kimbo Slice, you must lose.
So you can move your head like a pro boxer and move your feet better than any heavyweight boxer I have seen? Great stand-up technique is easy when you know the guy you are fighting can’t stop a takedown and has the lung power of a one-lunged throat-cancer patient.
Kimbo, you must lose because of this simple reason: With all your time on TV and all your headlines in the media, your fight overshadows the best fight on the card. (That and you have blanked us three times on TAGG Radio.)
What fight you ask? Which other EliteXC bout, you wonder? I will tell you which one. Ricco Rodriguez vs. Antonio Silva — Rodriguez (27-7), the former UFC heavyweight champion who fights the hard-hitting Silva (9-1) in Saturday’s co-main event. These are two legit players in this sport and the best two fighters on the card. They bring legit fights to the circus that is the other main event.
Rodriguez and Silva will be fighting later this year for the EliteXC heavyweight title; Silva will be looking to get back that loss he will get Saturday night. That is, if Rodriguez arrives in shape and still sober for this fight.
| Trigg sounds a little bitter, maybe Kimbo stole his lunch money or something.

Who the fuck does Frank think he is? Who is he to cheapen the legitimate efforts of a fighter to go train his ass off and take the sport seriously?
I've been pulling somewhat for Tank, but I also kind of hope that Frank gets the chance to eat his words after tonight.

I didn't think it was possible, but I now hate Trigg even more. Why talk shit about a guy who is trying to better himself and actually taking it seriously. Trigg is hating for no reason.
