Love this man. In this thread, post crazy analogies he's said.

As Scott Smith was doing his entrance in the EXC event a couple days ago Mauro threw out this gem:

"He is best known as having the most dramatic comeback since Lazarus."

LOL has never been more applicable than when I heard that. I actually called people to tell them that quote.

Mauro is great, damn smart guy with great sense of humor and actually knows what he´s talking about. Bouth Goldbergs are morons, Rogans yelling is really annoying and Trigg has to put himself in every analysis he makes.

When Scott Smith KO'd Kyle "The Aussie" Noke didn't Mauro say something like, "Smith nearly put Noke down under with that punch"?

I think Mauro doesn't get enough respect . I listen to his radio show everyday, "Fight Network Radio" - you can download it from iTunes.

I used to love Mauro in the Pride days (and still do, to an extent) but he's made one too many stock market crash references lately. I think he fancies himself as the Dennis Miller of MMA commentary.

edit : I remember hearing the joke during the carano fight and still think that was WAY out of character for him. Cheese and all, he's always classy.
