| Michael Bisping: “I think I can challenge for the middleweight title” Quote:
The Sun recently spoke with Michael Bisping about his move from Light Heavyweight to Middleweight. The former Ultimate Fighter Season 3 champion always knew that he was a small Light Heavyweight, but wanted to stay at the weight until he lost. “I like fighting the bigger guys and I was beating them, and beating them soundly to be honest”, Bisping told The Sun. “The Count” is confident about how well he’ll do in the Middleweight division because now he thinks he has the size advantage over other Middleweights.
Bisping went on to say, “I definitely feel I’m a contender already”.
He could be right though, because if Silva can get passed Henderson and that’s a BIG if, then there isn’t a long list of Middleweights waiting for him. Evan Tanner would be there if he beats Okami, but that’s basically it.
In comes Bisping if he can string together a couple of wins, he’ll most certainly propel himself into the title picture. | Source

well for starters he is not a contender already but with the lack of many big name fights at MW, a Bisping vs Silva headliner across the pond would not surprise me at all and it would sell very well over there. But obviously he is not ready for that and its pretty disappointing that Hamill wont get the rematch he deserves atleast for the time being. Bisping may develop into a contender but it wont be anytime soon.

I'm also the one who disapoint that their rematch with Hamill wont happen, and probably never will...i think Bisping move down to MW just to escape that rematch.

He said regardless of the outcome of the Rashad fight he was dropping down in weight.
I think Bisping would fuck Hamill up in a rematch. Seeing how much Bisping improved his tdd for the Rashad fight, i think Bisping tko's him.

Can Bisping challenge for the MW title? Sure anyone can.
Do I think he has more than the fluke ridden chance? Nope. I think he would be good for Franklin. I think Ace would do Bisping in.
