I was just watching a video about tito ortiz Vs the lions den and it had pictures of tito and chuck liddell training. I was wondering wot happened between tito ortiz and chuck liddell?

out of the loop huh? Chuck was #1 contender, Tito was Champ. Chuck wanted to fight, Tito didn't want to fight his friend. Chuck threw away a good friendship for a belt, Tito felt betrayed...basic he said he said crap drama. personally i think there is BS on both sides, so i'll never take a side for this one...but it's reality. they need to fight again, that's all im saying!

They were training partners at one point. Together they formed the very first Team Punishment, but I'm not really sure what happened between them.

In Tito's latest interview he said they're not enemies...not friends, but they don't hate each other.

tito and chuck trained together on team punishment , chuck lived with tito for about 6 months they were good friends , tito was in chucks corner for some of his fights ( randleman , bustimanie etc. ) chuck was kicking ass and was the #1 contender just like how shogun is in pride ( wandy champ ) and shogun #1 and they wont fight each other for the belt ( true friends would not ), Tito and dana had a falling out around ufc 40 and dana really pushed the ortiz vs liddell fight , plain and simple chuck sold out his friend for the dana and the company in my opinon , Thats the only reason i dont like chuck i think he sold tito out!! a good friend would of waited ( like shogun ) chucks time would of came. And people give tito shit for not wanting to fight a friend bullshit!! Dana wanted matt h. and rich franklin to fight at tuf 2 but they said no their friends! know one flipped on them you dont see team quest guys fight each other or chute box , or btt , chuck is a great fighter he just wanted titos fame and belt so much that he sold his friend out for it , AND THATS EXACTLY WHAT HE DID SOLD OUT TO THE UFC AND DANA WHITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

chuck moved in with tito and his girlfriend and you think they were not close come on , chuck says that now because he knows he looks bad if he does not say that, tito and chuck were all we seen out together ( clubs , training and at charity events together ) after the randleman ko the first person chuck hugs was tito ortiz !!!! ( watch the fight ) if they were not good friends then i dont know who is then , i m sure there is b.s. on both sides of the story . all i know now is there will be a second fight and tito wants this one bad this time i expected a great fight this time with the real tito showing up this time , tito will not stand with chuck he will be relentless with his takedowns and getting chuck in to the clinch, and dont tell me tito cant take chuck down he can everyone can go down , tito is training with matt hamil a greco wrestler that is elevating titos greco to a new level expect chuck to get taken down and get ground and pounded and then chuck gasses after round 3 then its all ortiz from there, it will be a war i just dont see tito loseing this time he wont stand with chuck it will be alittle boring the first round with alot of clinching like randy and titos first roundin there fight but tito will be the next lhw champ and bring back his world titlle to team punishment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With a fractured leg! Sense you saw that fight you know the first round is what Tito will do to Forest in there next fight. Tito Should take Chuck off his feet with and upward drive in his shoot then Chuck cant sprawl and Tito will have a day with him on the mat. Titos bigest problem in MMA is Tito himself he needs to step back and have some observing ego instead of reacting all the time. If he did he would be unstopable. Unless Frank comes back...hahaha!!!
