If he's not then who is? | Barnett out of shape? He was in the same shape he was always in. Whether or not Cro Cop is a better fighter than Barnett can be debated by anyone.. but 0-3 against Cro Cop is not a debate.
He beat Randy with steroids.. period... it cheapens the victory.... and, Steroids ALWAYS help you.. they help you train and they help you in the fight.
Him and Nog are 1-1, with Nog having the most recent win via UD in a the non-tournament (if that is what you are going to go by, so can I). Nog beats Barnett probably 3/4 out of 5
If Barnett beat Fedor, Nog would be #1, Fedor and Barnett could go either way for the #2 and #3 spot.

Even that one win over nog the guy has i this is suspect, Nog won that fight IMO so if you wanna talk who is the best he would have to beat Fedor and Nog to get top spot in my books.

I think it is a big mistake by the UFC not to sign him to a contract. Besides Randy I think Josh has the best chance of beating Fedor. Barnett is truly underrated and is a great fighter.

Stylewise CC is horible matchup but none of the fights were one-sided and i donīt see why Barnett couldnīt win if they fought again in the future.
Agree about Randy fight, and i wouldnīt ever mention the fight if i was Barnett, let alone claim to be the true champ.
Barnett went to that second fight to finish, Nog went to win a decision. Barnett knocked Nog down in the first and almost subbed him in the both fights. Donīt care if Nog wins 9/10 fights like that.
Donīt care about the rankings but why should Nog be #1 when heīs 1-1 against Barnett and got his ass handed to him twice by Fedor?
I think Barnett has the best chance to beat Fedor and heīs skillwise one of the best p4p.
