im guessing this is a joke. and if it's not, then here's what i have to say to all the Shields Nutt-Huggers out there...he's an idiot!!!!

why is everyone in Elite XC calling out Kimbo Slice now??? do they really think it's gonna make a career for them? next thing you know Nick Diaz, KJ Noons, and Yves Edwards will all be lining up to fight Kimbo...damn!

.....and knowing is half the battle.

I'd say 50/50 on the kidding thing... hard to call Mayhem was laughing and Shields said "I'm serious, make it happen".... who knows, he's still a tool, even if he's a good fighter.

And this just confirmed how much I hate KJ Noons. I would love to see Charles Bennett embarrass him again.

Agreed. Like it or not Kimbo is EXC's biggest name in terms of star power and beating him (especially if you are 45lbs lighter than him at weigh ins) would significant;y boost anyone's exposure to the fans. Hence why everyone is calling him out, it's an easy way to get into the spotlight.

first of, kimbo is NOT a joke. he is a very natural striker who is training with el guapo himself.

secondly, Jake is extremely strong and well-rounded. it doesn't matter whether he wins by submission, knockout or decision he still beat a very fierce and extremely powerful striker.

Okay I understand. I obviously misunderstood your meaning of exposure. I agree with what you're saying, but i also think it's a shame that Jake Shields could potentially have to fight a tomato can NOBODY in terms of Mixed Martial Arts to get his name out there.
