PPV buys? The stars sell the fights, and UFC is brilliant at marketing them, but if you look at the past years headline fights, they aint all that special.

If im a fighter and Dana offers me minimal money and a rediculous contract why shouldnt i sign with someone else, as couture and fedor did and as more will follow? Kimbo got 175 grand for his 2nd mma fight, how many guys in the ufc can say they ever saw that type of money? The other organizations and private promoters will have no problem paying these guys more money then the ufc. UFC is holding out until they are forced to pay more to keep their fighters. They refused to sign Fedor because it would mean everyone else would want more money.
Losing UFC's stars??? Who? Fedor was never even in the UFC so they did not lose him. Besides, the reason they did not sign him was not because they would have to pay everyone more money lol. Fedor and co decided not to sign because they did not want to deal with an exclusive contract.

Randy is 1 person that only has a couple years, if that, left... the man is 45 this June lol. Cro Cop came in and was a let down so he is leaving to hopefully sharpen his game. Tito maybe is leaving but who has he impressed at all lately? Thats pretty much it.

Even before Zuffa purchased Pride and signed a number of their fighters, the UFC was still owning the market so what makes you think they are going to fall now?? Zuffa must be doing something right otherwise most fighters would not still be trying to fulfill a dream to make it into the UFC. I mean they are not getting paid dog shit and we dont even know what else they are making from endorsements and what not.

Dude you obviously have no idea what Fedor was wanting to sign with the UFC, noone in their right mind would have taken those terms.

Then you list Kimbo as a reason the UFC is wrong? That makes less then zero sense.

mass exodus? i think this guy got a little carried away. arlovski said hes happy with the ufc and plans to resign. why would sylvia be going anywhere? all that leaves is tito, 1 fighter. hardly a mass exodus.

Randy leaving is the only thing that could even potentially hurt the UFC, and that's probably just going to involve legal costs.

Tito's leaving...so the fuck what?

Sylvia's just negotiating, and Arlovski has made it abundantly clear that he's not going anywhere.

The UFC's in no real danger.

The UFC has dealt w/ short lived thin talent levels in certain divisions forever. Losing Randy, CC, Timmay, and AA would certainly leave the HW division thin. But if you look at the WW's, LW's and LHW's, the UFC won't be hurting for main events in the near future. Also, w/ young talent like Vera and Lesnar potentially stepping up to challenge in the HW div, the UFC's problems could be brief.
