Yves is known for his HL Reel KOs, and when he's on he's definitely on!
im gunna go out and say that this is the best (most competitive) fight Elite XC has put on next to Ninja/Lawler. i cant wait to see this one! Yves TKO Rd 2

It'll be very cool to see Yves with a belt, brutal head kick I think or a flying knee, Noons will be crappin teeth for weeks!!!

i'd like to see Yves take this. Noons just doesn't do anything for me. also, i've always wanted to see Yves with a title, even if its EXC's. it was painful watching him lose in bodog, especially since i only watched bodog to see him fight.

Gotta Support ATT, War Yves.
I think he is more than capable of beating Noons and I have Edwards winning it via (T)KO in the second.

here are some of Yves's comments on the title fight - YVES EDWARDS COMMENTS ON TITLE SHOT - MMA WEEKLY - Mixed Martial Arts & UFC News, Photos, Rankings & more Quote:
Not one to sit back and wait for a fight, Yves Edwards, just off a knockout win over Edson Berto last Saturday, is coming back April 26 to face EliteXC 160-pound divisional champion K.J. Noons in Hawaii. Edwards confirmed the fight Wednesday morning.
“It was offered a couple days ago,” said Edwards in an interview with MMAWeekly.com. “Now it’s a go.”
Edwards defeated Berto with a highlight reel knockout. He will slow things down this week and then pick right back up in training and prepare for his title bout in April.
The former Ultimate Fighting Championship lightweight knows Noons very well and while he has every intention of winning the title, he understands the challenge that stands in front of him.
“I’m excited about it, it’s not going to be easy that’s for
sure,” Edwards commented. “K.J.’s proven he’s tough. He beat a really good fighter in Nick Diaz and I’m just looking forward to it. I’m excited about the fight itself and I’m excited to show my skills.
“I think K.J.’s stand-up is very good. We haven’t seen a lot of his ground game. His takedown defense is looking pretty good, too. I think it’s going to be a good fight all the way around in every aspect.”
After losing a few fights, Edwards seemed at a crossroads in his career, but working with the legendary American Top Team has rejuvenated his fighting spirit and the next step is the EliteXC title.
“It’s not the ultimate (goal) because after that I still plan on fighting,” said Edwards about his chance to win the championship.
“I plan on winning the belt and holding it for a while, a long time, hopefully till I retire. So it’s not the ultimate, but it’s pretty high up there. It’s pretty important to me. It’s something that I really want.”

Sweet! this could set up Yves/Diaz. i have always wanted to see that! Training with ATT was the best move he could have made. I hope Yves KO's Noons.
