Actually, i have a great idea for the UFC, seeing as how they get along, induct Oleg and Tank together.. There fight was monumental for the era.

tank going in the hof makes perfect sense to me. he's one of the pioneers of the sport that would at times fight multiple times a night. granted, he may not be the best fighter and definately doesnt have the best record, but he definately earned the respect of his employer and peers.

the HOF should be what you did as a fighter. not fan support or anything like that. all the members in the hall have great records, big wins over big names, and world titles. tank has none of these things and should be not be in the hall of fame.

Just because hes not that well rounded,or has a great record doesnt mean he doesnt deserve a spot in the HOF. At one time he was one of the most feared guys, and intimidating guys in the sport. | I don't normally agree with you Quintessential Studmuffin but I was thinking the exact same thing. The first time I saw Tank I though he was going to destroy everyone. Quote:

All this will do is devalue a HOF spot because if Tank can get one then you can give one too pretty much anybody. | I was going to make the same type of smart ass comment that smoogy and LebenTysonTank made.(see below) Quote:

Granted they probably only make up 5% of the population here, but they bitch awfully loud.

No doubt, seeing him fight he was one of the first fighters to grab my attention and get me into MMA, he deserves it. He had a big part in the long long ago days of the UFC for sure.

I wasnt saying anything bad about Royce or submissions, just saying they both beat cans but they did it two different ways.Look at Phil Baroni one day he will be Tank Abbott he has some awesome KOs but now is sporting a 10-8 record..he may retire with a losing record by the end of it...but he should be in the hall of fame eventually I think. And I hate Bologna.
