why would vera take it to the ground... he never does. He likes to bang... and werdum won't be able to take Vera down... Vera is a better wrestler. When you're a better wrestler, you dictate where the fight goes!

ill be rooting for vera because i like him much better then werdum. i just hope vera comes prepared. from watching his last fight it answered a few questions about him. ill take it from him that his standup was lacking because of the broken hand. but now we see that he also has a good chin. so vera is very well rounded. good standup wrestling and bjj. hes got speed and power. the only thing he lacks is size. since his last fight was timmy i dont think size is gonna be an issue for him. plus werdum is slightly above size hw but hes not huge or anything.

i think vera has the tools to win this fight and i hope he will do it. leg kicks were extremly effective against werdum when he fought gonzaga. vera likes to throw alot of kicks as well so hopefully he can landl them and avoid getting taken down.

also id hate to see a guy as talented as vera lose 2 in a row. but with the hw divison nowadays almost any fight is a hard fight.

I know Werdum is training MT at Chute Boxe but I gotta say Vera has the advantage standing and his wrestling will allow him to keep the fight there. Vera by KO round 2.
